Confession time!! When it comes to beauty treatments, I’m all for looking refreshed and well-rested, but I’m not looking for anything too drastic. Also, with a busy work schedule, the idea of lengthy downtime is definitely not appealing.
That’s why non-invasive aesthetic treatments are my go-to! They promise a better version of you, without surgery and with no downtime.
So when I visited Illuminate MediSpa to try the Onda Pro V Lift, I was curious to see what it was actually like.
What’s Onda Pro V Lift?
Singapore’s beauty scene has been moving towards treatments that fit more easily into everyday life. Instead of dramatic transformations, many people are looking for subtle improvements in skin firmness, facial definition and overall appearance.
The Onda Pro V Lift takes this approach. It is a non-invasive face sculpting treatment that uses DEKA’s patented Coolwaves™ microwave technology from Italy.
In simple terms, the treatment is designed to work on two things at the same time: contouring and skin tightening.
The technology targets areas such as the double chin, jawline, jowls and lower face. It works beneath the skin to target localised fat while stimulating collagen, which can help improve firmness and definition over time.
This is was particularly interesting to me. Rather than simply focusing on tightening, the treatment is designed to help create a more defined facial contour too.
My Experience at Illuminate MediSpa
Illuminate MediSpa is a doctor-led medispa located in a beautiful standalone bungalow in Dempsey Hill. The setting is spacious, private and more resort-like than what you might expect from an aesthetic clinic.
What I liked was the focus on a personalised approach. Instead of jumping straight into a treatment, the idea is to understand your concerns and recommend what makes sense for you.
During my Onda Pro V Lift treatment, the device was used around the areas being targeted, including the lower face and jawline. The handpiece also incorporates cooling technology, which helps keep the surface of the skin comfortable during the treatment.
There was no surgery, no needles and no major recovery period which makes it easier to fit into a busy schedule.
You may experience warmth during the treatment, and some temporary redness, tenderness, swelling or itching can occur afterwards. These effects generally settle within a few days. For me, I didn’t get much of side effects at all.
Is It Worth Trying?
What appealed to me most about Onda Pro V Lift is that it isn’t about dramatically changing your face. The focus is more on subtle definition and firmer-looking skin that develops gradually.
If you’re looking for a sharper-looking jawline, improved facial contour and firmer-looking skin, but aren’t ready for surgical procedures or significant downtime, Onda Pro V Lift is certainly a treatment worth exploring.
As with any aesthetic treatment, results vary from person to person, so a proper consultation with a qualified doctor is the best place to start.
